Over the past 150 years, Robert W. Sing's lineage has passed through several generations of Sings, Lowrimores, Hagans, and Vierras. Much of what you read here about Private Sing, CSA and the Civil War came from public artifacts such as the U.S. census and military records from the 1800s. Anecdotal history shared thus far came from Jessie Junene Hagan-Vierra--Sing's great granddaughter and my mother--as was passed down to her by her mother, Ethel Lowrimore-Hagan.
